Tolino Vision Deal: Get an eBook Bestseller and Case for Only 129 Euros

Estimated reading time: 1:54 min.

Update: The Tolino Vision 3 HD is now available, and it has also been offered in bundles or as a bargain at a reduced price. You can find more continuously updated deal offers for Tolino models on our theme page.

Original Announcement: The Tolino Vision has been on the market for a few weeks, priced at 129 Euros and positioned against the Kindle Paperwhite. Initially, the eBook Reader was available at a slightly lower price with a voucher, though this was due to an error. Shortly after, the Vision was excluded from the voucher, so the regular price applied again.

Now, for the first time, the Tolino Vision is available through a (deliberate) promotion at Club Bertelsmann, which effectively makes the eBook Reader much cheaper. While you still need to put down 129 Euros, you also get a linen case worth 19.99 Euros and an eBook bestseller of your choice (from a pre-selection of 10 titles) valued between 8.99 and 21.99 Euros. Adding up the bonuses, the Tolino Vision effectively costs between 87.02 and 100.02 Euros.

Cheaper Tolino Vision

A linen case worth 19.99 Euros is included

While it’s not quite as attractive as getting the eBook Reader at this price alone, it is still a significant saving. You can choose one of the following eBooks:

  • The Heir – John Grisham – 19.99€
  • The Farm – Simon Beckett – 16.99€
  • A Handful of Words – Jojo Moyes – 12.99€
  • Me Before You – Jojo Moyes- 12.99€
  • The Hundred-Year-Old… – Jonas Jonasson – 8.99€
  • The Italian Girl – Lucinda Riley – 8.99€
  • Bridget Jones – Mad About the Boy – Helen Fielding – 11.99€
  • Breaking News – Frank Schätzing – 21.99€
  • Ostfriesen Fire – Klaus-Peter Wolf – 9.99€
  • Divergent – Veronica Roth – 8.99€

The offer is valid only for new customers and is available until July 31, 2014.

It’s currently the cheapest way to get a Tolino Vision. Whether this promotion indicates that the new eBook Reader is selling less than expected or that Club Bertelsmann wants to push more as a Tolino partner and distributor, one can only speculate. The timing and duration of the offer are certainly surprising, though.

Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter to Tolino Vision enthusiasts. It’s a great opportunity to purchase the eBook Reader, which left a very good impression in our test.
