Sony PRS-300

With the Sony PRS-300, the Japanese company ushered in a new generation of models alongside the PRS-600 and PRS-900. The 300 model served as an affordable entry-level option, featuring a 5-inch screen. It uses E-Ink Vizplex technology for its display.
Unlike the other two devices, however, the PRS-300 does not have a touchscreen, so all controls are managed exclusively through the buttons on the front. In this respect, the device largely follows the design of the previous generation. The PRS-505 offered the same control scheme.
Thanks to the lack of a touchscreen, the readability of the Sony PRS-300 is noticeably better than that of its larger siblings, which has made it a popular alternative despite lacking memory card expansion and audio support.
